Basic Spearfishing
In the Dominican Republic and in large parts of the Caribbean, for example, lionfish are heavily hunted because they have no natural enemies. They are considered an invasive species that only eats juvenile fish, causing serious damage to the ecosystem. But spearfishing is also allowed in other countries and therefore the correct handling of these underwater weapons is important.

The responsible and safe handling of underwater spears and/or harpoons is an essential part of this training program.

Cave diving
This course provides you with the knowledge and skills necessary to independently plan and conduct cavern penetration dives within the daylight zone at depths shallower than 40 meters.
You will learn how to use specialized cave scuba gear, gas management concepts and partner skills to conduct safe cavern dives. After completing the course, you will receive the SSI Cave Diving Specialty certification.
Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water Diver certification & 24 logged dives

Computer Diving
For diving at depth you need instruments for the planning, execution and follow-up of your dives.
Modern dive computers replace the watch, depth gauge and manometer and provide information about diving depth, dive length, saturation and any alarm messages in an emergency. In addition, the dive computer is now irreplaceable for quick and correct dive planning.

The COMPUTER DIVING COURSE shows you the current status of dive computer development, the special features and operation of the different models as well as the possibilities of diving safely with your dive computer and planning repetitive dives.

Deep diving
In your deep dive training, you have already learned about the SSI air/EAN tables and know that increasing your planned dive depth automatically decreases your bottom time if you don't want to face mandatory decompression.
By using nitrox you can increase your allowable bottom time as long as you don't exceed the maximum operating depth for the gas mix, but even the best nitrox mix offers relatively short bottom times on deeper dives.

Dry Suit Diving
Anyone who then owns a "Trocki" and masters the technique has great diving opportunities in autumn, winter and spring, because visibility in the cold season or in cold waters is usually much better than in summer. So you can dive undisturbed through clear water with your "Trocki".
In theory, there are also the really hard-nosed people who jump into the cold water in a wet or semi-dry suit at this time of the year. But if you want to have fun while diving and think about your health, you can comfortably put on your dry suit.
In your DRY SUIT DIVING course you will learn about the advantages of a dry suit and gain specialist knowledge about different types of suits, the valves, the choice of undersuits and dry diving accessories. During the 2 dives you will learn the technique and use of the dry suit as well as maintenance and care in practice.
If you just want to find out more about dry diving, you can also just buy the manual and/or the DVD without having to take an entire course.

Enriched Air Nitrox
Have you ever dreamed of having longer no-stop times to be able to photograph or explore wrecks? Or maybe you want more safety in terms of decompression when diving?
Nitrox enables you to do just that. Due to the lower proportion of nitrogen in the breathing gas, the body is also put under less strain and the desaturation times are drastically reduced.
"Nitrox for free" is already the motto at many diving centers abroad. This means that you don't have to pay extra for the special gas mixture. However, every dive center wants to see a certificate from you. Only then can you dive with Nitrox.
ENRICHED AIR NITROX can optionally be taught in connection with diving, so it is ideal as a "winter speciality" before the start of a holiday, because then you can really get started without theory in the most beautiful time of the year.
If you just want to find out more about Nitrox, you can also just buy the manual and/or the DVD without having to take an entire course.

Equipment Techniques
Your diving equipment is like your diving buddy under water, on whom you must be able to rely completely! Diving is just more fun in your own equipment and that's why sooner or later every enthusiastic recreational diver will get their own equipment.

The EQUIPMENT TECHNIQUES program covers choosing the right equipment to achieve personal diving goals. In addition, the correct adjustment and setting of the equipment is discussed in detail.

With your own equipment, your interest in how it works, the right care and maintenance, and in carrying out minor repairs automatically grows. This knowledge not only prolongs the life of your scuba equipment, but also contributes to the safety and confidence of every diver.

The EQUIPMENT TECHNIQUES program can optionally be taught in conjunction with scuba diving, making it an excellent "Winter Specialty" before the start of a holiday or before the start of the season. Night & Limited Visibility
The world under water is a new and unknown world for us. Diving down at night means rediscovering this fascinating world and looking at it with different eyes.
It is incredibly beautiful and fascinating to climb into the water in local waters at dusk and with the last rays of light. Everything is even quieter than usual. With good equipment and an underwater lamp adapted to the circumstances, with a bit of luck you can even watch fish that are active at dusk while hunting.
Of course, every night dive is a little adventure, especially in tropical waters. You only see what the light of your own diving lamp and that of your diving partner shines on.

The basic requirement for your NIGHT & LIMITED VISIBILITY adventure is good coordination and generally good diving skills, which are also improved during the two required dives. Those who master these, plan their night dive well and have the right equipment with them will be rewarded with dives of a special kind.

Perfect Bouyancy
Every diver wants to be a "good diver". Perfect buoyancy control is the first step in that direction.

Further training to perfect buoyancy control skills is recommended for every diver, because in addition to better diving skills, perfect buoyancy control is also the best way to protect the environment.
If you want to dive in great places on holiday, you will first have to do a check dive and buoyancy control is one of the skills that is required of every diver there. This is not done to unnecessarily stress the divers, but to protect the sensitive underwater world. The damage done by divers through poor buoyancy control skills is immense, considering that many coral species only grow a few millimeters per year.

Perfect buoyancy is also the basic requirement for almost all specialty courses, which makes PERFECT BUOYANCY a must for every ambitious diver. The course is taught in connection with at least 2 dives and all basic skills are trained and perfected in practice, as well as other techniques are learned.

Recreational Side Mount Diving
More and more scuba divers are now discovering what has long been practiced in wreck and cave diving.

It can be read and seen again and again in trade journals and a diver has occasionally been seen jumping into the water from many a boat in the holiday country without a bottle on his back.
The simple, pleasant and weightless diving without feeling the weight of the diving device on your back. Who wouldn't want to have this experience too?
In order to be able to make this type of dive safely, special training is required. Unfortunately, it is precisely these dives that are often carried out without the necessary preparation and knowledge, which often leads to a safety risk. It is therefore necessary to have the right knowledge to safely conduct recreational sidemount dives.
In theory lessons you will learn everything about the background, history, advantages and equipment of sidemount diving. In practice you will then learn how to configure your equipment and handle it in the water. You will quickly realize that the comfortable buoyancy control and easier movement will give you a whole new diving experience.

Search&Recovery
The thrill of finding treasure runs through every diver's mind more than once in their diving career.
Whether it's gold from a sunken ship, a lost ring, or just your dive buddy's lamp that accidentally fell into the lake. There are times when it would be useful to have the proper training to search for lost items and this is where SEARCH AND RECOVERY comes in.
Most divers have no idea where to begin a search and recovery operation. This requires special training that Open Water Divers and many advanced divers do not have.
SSI offers you a structured course on this topic to increase the fun of searching and recovering without neglecting safety when handling the lift bag.
During the 2 dives of your SEARCH AND RECOVERY course you will learn how to dive different search patterns with the help of a compass or ropes and how to plan a search operation correctly in a team. You will also learn how to properly use one or more lift bags to safely bring objects to the surface.

Stress & Rescuery
With the driver's license, the first aid course is completed first and then the exam is taken.
Diving involves first learning to dive and then diving. But what if something is wrong with your diving buddy? When a diver gets stressed underwater? If someone chokes or has water in their mask and shoots to the surface? Or too exhausted on the surface to swim back to the boat or shore?
Numerous small stressful situations that do not create stress or panic when acted immediately and correctly.
That's what the DIVER STRESS & RESCUE program is for! This is the level to which any responsible recreational diver should continue their training.
The focus of the training is prevention, recognizing stress and solving problems above and below water. The course lasts about two to four days and includes both theoretical and practical training units in the pool and in open water.
Proof of training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation within the last two years is required for certification.
Requirements: Open Water Diver and first aid course (this can also be done with us if not available)
Price: US$ 450 including theory, dives, course material, certification and rental equipment!
Scooters | DPV Diving
Faster, further, more agile.

Wreck diving
Diving on wrecks is diving in the past - and always associated with some goosebumps...
It is a fascinating experience to experience large ships from a bird's eye view and to hover from above the captain's bridge. Of course there are also tragic fates and wrecks that only lie in pieces on the seabed.
Diving wrecks is exciting and not entirely without risk - but with the right training in WRECK DIVING, it becomes a great adventure.
In the WRECK DIVING SPECIALTY course you will learn where to find background information about the wrecks, how to search for and find a wreck and what preparations are required for a dive on a wreck. During the 2 dives you will learn how to behave properly when diving on wrecks and the dangers that can arise.

Waves, Tides & Currents
"Have you ever dreamed of just going with the current while spotting dolphins or sharks?
Appropriate training in drift diving enables you to do just that, which is why WAVES, TIDES & CURRENTS is a must for every ambitious diver!
If you want to dive in great places on holiday, sooner or later you will be confronted with water movements. This can be waves when entering from land, the surf near an island or a current during the dive.
Even in fresh water, as a diver, you are definitely confronted with the topic of currents. Diving with the current is a fascinating experience - the diver floats past the reefs with grandiose ease, almost without exerting himself.
But woe betide if the current blows against the diver. How much current can a diver tolerate? And how does the diver deal with the current? How to recognize current and plan the dive safely? WAVES, TIDES & CURRENTS is taught in connection with at least 2 dives and these questions are answered in practice.
